Valery Miftakhov, eMotorWerks Founder and CEO, spoke at the Studio Conference. He discussed how our charging stations let utilities better manage generation and save on energy costs. The stations also reduce infrastructure upgrade expenses and integrate more generation with renewable sources such as wind and solar power.

eMotorWerks' Founder and CEO, Val Miftakhov, took part in a forum session which explored the role that storage can play in minimizing the impact of distributed solar and even providing higher value grid services. As the solar industry continues its unprecedented growth, the value of solar to the grid decreases as more solar assets go online. This could limit the growth of distributed solar and add to the disparity in electricity pricing between peak and off-peak hours.
